This month we had ups and downs if you look at the unique visitors coming. THe beginning went bad the number of visitors per day dropped to 10-15 but half a way it became more until 20-25 and some high peaks which reached up to 40! In January I said we also had some new features coming. Well the freebies are here, but the portfolio is a problem... Anyway I have redesigned the blog too. If any suggestions for the lay-out, then please contact me (comment or e-mail) Anyway lets list the ups and downs:
Downs: -Daily visitor decrease -Some widgets disappeared (can't get them back :S) -A banner that doesn't fit (yet)
Ups -Visitor Increase -More posts than in January 2009 and also more different labels -Freebies! -More useful websites added to Link List -We have had our 1000th Unique Visitor!

Today one of the featured videos on Vimeo was Science machine by Chad Pugh. He made a time lapse from screenshots made each 5 seconds from several months of work and put it into a video of 7 minutes!
The 36" x 24" print can be purchased at my new store! http://store.thebigpugh.com
This piece inspired the login illustration that vimeo commissioned from me for their redesign earlier this year; it is still in use throughout the site. The video is a condensed time lapse of screenshots over a several month period. Total physical drawing time is close to 40 hours and I'd add an equal amount of time for concept time and readying the print. A screenshot was taken every 5 seconds, which actually results in a full 18 minute video, but I shrunk it into a video under 7 minutes for entertainment's sake. The full video can be found here: http://www.vimeo.com/1015679
My life has changed a lot since i started this, so I thought it appropriate to include my friends, family and loved ones since they all were on my mind throughout the creative process. The music is from Portishead's latest album, here: http://www.amazon.com/Third/dp/B0018CA996/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=dmusic&qid=1219248848&sr=8-2

Today I have found an amazing Post at Abduzeedo. It shows some of the great work of Peter Jaworowski, who has done a lot of ads for popular brands, such as Nike, Nokia, Samsung, Fanta etc. The post can be seen HERE. More of his work can be seen on his own website [link]
A few days ago a friend of mine (Hafidz) told me about Dropular.net. It is a great website where a large amount of artist post their work and inspiration. One disadvantage for you may be than you can't just sign up, you need to be invited. Though this is an advantage too, because in this way you don't get the bad images on a good website.
I haven't dropped much yet, but if you're interested in my drops you can click HERE to view my ''channel''.
